This circuit, accessible from the heights of Puy-Saint-Martin, allows you to discover the secrets of the village and its views over the entire plain.
Description
In front of the Mairie (town hall), head towards the village on rue du 19 mars 1962, cross the D6 (Grande rue) and turn up rue du Bourg, then right on rue des Remparts.
Turn left on Montée Portal, then right on Montée des Genêts for 20 m, then immediately left on Chemin du Belvédère. Go past the well (right), then up the path to the right.
Turn left, then right to reach the cemetery wall. Turn right onto the Chemin du Belvédère (viewpoint indicator), with its 180° view over the Valdaine plain.
Continue along the road, skirting the cemetery on the right. Turn right on Montée des Genêts; at the next crossroads, turn left on Montée du Téron.
At the bottom, turn right onto Chemin des Ours. At the end of the latter, after the last house, keep straight on. Just before the rocky ford of the Charivari stream, take the left-hand path. Continue uphill on a steep slope until you reach the "Chevrière- La Pigne" circuit.
Turn right along the field. Continue straight on until you reach the Route d'Auriples; turn right for a good km until you reach the D6. Cross the Tranchée picnic area on the right (viewpoint over the Valdaine plain), then immediately turn left onto a steep downhill path.
Continue straight ahead on this wide track; pass a reservoir; continue downhill on Montée de Chanteperdrix. Turn right just before the D6 into Rue du Levant, then left into Rue des Redis.
Cross the Grande Rue and take Rue du Temple, then keep right to reach the Mairie.
