the ruined 12th-century fortified castle and its orientation table on the hill overlooking the Valdaine plain
Description
Built around a hill in the center of the Valdaine region, crossed by the Roubion, Vermenon and Jabron rivers. Le Chatelas dominates the village, and from its orientation table you can enjoy a magnificent 220° panorama stretching from Marsanne to Puygiron. The graphics were designed by Françoise Aymé-Martin, and the support was produced entirely by the municipal team. The chapelle St Roch is perched on the summit of Chatelas, while the chapelle St Andéol, much appreciated for its Romanesque style, watches over the communal cemetery.
